Dr. David Stevens, Developmental Psychologist, will be our
guest speaker during the first hour. His presentation is entitled
"Beyond Compensations and Accommodations: Overcoming Learning
Difficulties through Cognitive Interventions". Learn about
the recent research and case studies on Cognitive Interventions.
Some children struggle in school because they have not sufficiently
developed these skills. Dr. Stevens will provide an overview
of the research on successful school-based cognitive intervention
programs as well as case studies detailing the students' improvements.
Dr. Stevens has a practice in Lexington Center called the
